Plot:
On July 19, 1987 a fire raged on the buildings of Oakwood Academy for misbehaving boys. The unknown spark that started the flame began to spread with large gusts of winds throughout the grounds leaving only barren land. Teachers and students fled to the beach, the water the only haven from the flames. The temperature unbearable for the inhabitants and no way to reach help distinguished the hope of everyone. Hours later when the flames had gone and most in safety, the students and teachers looked at what had been their school and their belongings. Everything was gone, burnt to ashes besides the stone walls.
Many years later the old crippled principle from the original school came back to the place that he had so many terrible memories of. He remembered the night perfectly, but only wished he didn’t. His heart pained as he remembered the sad looks on the boy’s faces as they boarded the trains to home leaving their closed one. The school had been a sanctuary for them, and he knew their hearts sank as they left their place of refuge. As he walked through the old paths of Oakwood Academy, he decided if it was the last thing he did before he died, he would reopen the school once again.
With the money he had saved in the last twenty or so years, the old principle began the rebuilding of the school. Although not as grand as the last, the new school was as perfect as he imagined. But with the times changed he decided there had to be a change in scenery. The new school was now, Auburn Oak Academy for boys and girls. For safe measures he had the dorms built on opposite sides of the school, just to make things a little more difficult for the new students. The old principle knew he would not be around long enough for the school’s grand opening so he enlisted his grandson Samuel to run to school as his last wish. Samuel accepted the offer and became the first principle of Auburn Oak Academy. And now: the adventures begin.
